The 15-years old Priya Kour from Srinagar’s Sanat Nagar who was roll over contest in ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati season 12’, last night earned Rs 25 lakh tonight as well as Rs 5 lakh as a part of scholarship for her education.
Enthusiast Priya said that getting marks cannot decide anything but a person should have knowledge of things around. She said during the show that she has been telling her father that not coming first does not prove anything.
“Rather, I am of the opinion that one should have knowledge no matter where he stands in the rank,” she said.
Priya who wants to become an IAS officer, is currently in her class 10 and studies at Simin Rose Garden Montessori School Baghat Srinagar.
While terming being on show as a colossal opportunity, she said that she was eager to meet Amitabh Bachan.
Earlier on Friday during the fastest finger first, she made a record of the season by answering the round in just 2.67 seconds.
Priya had already impressed Amitab Bachchan by her swiftness and presence of mind which continued on the show that was aired on Friday night. She was fast, furious with a bull’s eye on the right answers.

Priya had earlier told Excelsior that she believes in charity and would give some amount as a charity as well. “World is our family and one has to take care of that family as well”.
She had said that she is of opinion that one has to be a good person and should inculcate things in ourselves that we want to see in society. “We have to change ourselves first,” she said.
“Everybody has financial instability at their homes, I always wanted to help my parents and thus God has helped me to assist my family,” she said.
Priya has a younger sister, who is studying in Class 8th at present while her father is a transporter and her mother a former teacher and now, a homemaker.
She sees inspiration in Mother Teresa and wishes to follow her path. She also appears to be strong-willed, full of determination to be a change agent and inspire others of her age.
Her father, Ravinder Singh said that his daughter has always been hardworking and that has been the reason that she has reached to this point of her life at such a tender age. “I am proud of her as she was brought laurels of J&K by her hard work and dedication,” he said
